It started from humble beginnings at the Young Designers Emporium in Cape Town, South Africa and has grown into a powerful brand that is synonymous with beautiful detailing, exquisite fabrics and trims, high quality production standards and excellent service to both local and international clients.
Abigail Betz specialises in once off haute couture pieces, targeting the high end bridal wear market. Abigail Betz also tailor makes bridal accessories to suit each unique wedding gown; from delicate traditional and bird cage veils to exquisite vintage hair pieces. Vintage jewellery pieces, to be worn on the big day such as earrings, bracelets, broaches and neck pieces are carefully sourced and hand picked from some of South Africa's finest vintage jewellery suppliers to suit each brides individual taste and budget.
The Abigail Betz label also has a high end, ready to wear line available. Beautifully tailored coats and coat dresses for all seasons as well as cocktail wear make up the line.
Abigail Betz, also known as the Vera Wang of South Africa, has showcased her collections at the Mercedes Benz Fashion weeks in South Africa and has graced the international catwalks of many of the worlds fashion capitals such as Paris, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Guanghau.
